Taller Martín Pescador, 2010. Item #1065
Broadside, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. “Composed in Monotype Dante at the Taller Martín Pescador Christmas 2010 & to Celebrate JW Stauffacher’s 90 Years on the Planet Earth.” Mexican typographer and printer, Juan Pascoe is the proprietor of Taller Martín Pescador. He apprenticed with Harry Duncan at the Cummington Press in West Branch, IA in the early seventies before establishing his own imprint in Mexico in 1975. It is said that the press name, which translates to Kingfisher Workshop, was the suggestion of Roberto Bolaño. Very fine.
