Fulcrum Press, 1969. Item #1084
Brown cloth over boards with printed dust jacket. Designed by Stuart Montgomery and printed by Villiers Publications Ltd London for Fulcrum Press. Cover image is from a photograph by Helen Cassidy. This is the first British edition. There is also an American edition that is about 1/4 in. taller with a darker glossier brown cloth for the binding. The American jacket has a dollar price ($4.50) and is distributed by Horizon Press. This copy is nicely inscribed with a small drawing to poet/publisher Ray DiPalma and Betsi DiPalma in Bowling Green, KY in 1972. The book has a bump to crown and heel of spine, else fine. The jacket is very good plus with tanning to the interior and light edge wear and soiling. A prior bookseller’s pencil prices to f.f.e. are retained for humorous as well as bibliographic value. The price is continuously marked down until the seller ends up paying you, the customer, to purchase the book.
