5 Numbers. Robert Creeley. The Poets Press. 1968.

5 Numbers.

The Poets Press, 1968. Item #1279

Saddle stitched in wrappers. A brief note by Creeley on the colophon reads in part: “from NUMBERS: A Sequence for Robert Indiana – January 16, 1968 … Published in generous REALITY by The Poets Press, New York March 1968.” Typical of Poets Press publications, the poems are reproduced from the poet’s holograph. The cover design is a rubber stamp print by William Katz. The cover print is accompanied by the initials of Robert Indiana and William Katz. This is from an edition of 150 copies. In place of a number there is a star drawn by the poet and signed by him. Novick 31. Very fine.
