Side-stapled wrappers, mimeo. The front and back covers were drawn and printed offset by Philip Whalen. This is from an edition of 250 copies of which 4 hors commerce copies are lettered, bound in cloth, and each include an original drawing and a photograph of the poet. This is the poet’s first book (also known as Twenty-Four Sonnets) and was written when she was living with Ted Berrigan at 165 Meeting House Lane in Southampton, Long Island during the winter of 1970–1971. The book was printed in Bolinas in 1971.
