Screen print by John Furnival in red and black on white stock, 15 1/2 x 22 in. No statement of edition, signed with title and date by Moore. This is a sort of companion piece to Moore’s collaboration with Funival, “The Erik Satie Road-sign, First version,” which was published in an edition of 5 copies. A. Doyle Moore was introduced to fine printing as a student of Harry Duncan at the Univ. of Iowa in 1959. He was the proprietor of the Finial Press as well as a professor at the Univ. of Illinois. A very clean bright very near fine copy with evidence of a shallow bend to lower right corner and toning to extremities.
