Based on a revised text of Sweeney Astray (Heaney's version of the medieval Irish saga Buile Suibhne) with 34 black and white photographs of the northern Irish landscape by Rachel Giese. Includes a preface by Heaney as well the complete revised version (1992) of Sweeney Astray. With a lovely inscription to dear friends by Seamus Heaney dated Feb. 1993. Small spot (1/8 in.) to top of book block, very near fine. Jacket shows light handling (no chips or tears) very good to near fine.
