Side-stapled mimeograph. Cover by Joe Brainard, edited by Ron Padgett. Considered one of Berrigan's most influential works, this book is widely considered his first, in the first edition. However, its publication is technically preceded by A Lily for My Love, which Berrigan attempted to round up copies and destroy (and this thus incredibly scarce).
The book is inscribed to one of Berrigan's dear friends and collaborators: "For Anselm Hollo, across the ocean, with highest regards, Ted Berrigan NYC '64."
This is no. 7 from an edition of 300 copies. Very good with some toning to covers, 3/4 in. chip to upper left corner of front cover. The back cover is present, yet loosened from staples and chipped along top and upper right corner; see photos.
