Smyth-sewn in wrappers with cover by Joe Brainard and book design by Joan Wilentz. This is from an edition of 1500 copies of which 50 are numbered and signed by poet and artist. This copy is inscribed by Berrigan to Larry [Fagin]. This is a significant association as Larry Fagin published Berrigan's work at his magazine and press, Adventures in Poetry, including the Berrigan and Brainard collaboration, The Drunken Boat. Shelf wear especially to extremities with several chips including a 1/4 inch chip to spine. Interior is fine.
