Quarter-cloth and blue paper over boards with unclipped dust jacket, with note by Jim Harrison. This copy is inscribed with a carp drawing, "for Bobbie Louise Hawkins with love from Richard Brautigan San Francisco at the new house on Lombard September 5, 1978." Book shows evidence of age particularly on the white cloth spine and with a light mark to top of book block. Possibly a remainder mark though this seems unlikey since the book was inscribed in the year of publication. Jacket is near fine with light shelf wear. Great association as Bobbie Louise Hawkins and Richard Brautigan were neighbors for a short time in Bolinas, California.
