"No Help Wanted," "10 things I do every day," "House in the Country."
N.p., [1967]. Item #2821
Three silkscreen prints, each 35 x 23 in. Edition of 20 copies printed by Schneeman, numbered and signed by poet and artist. "Ted didn't feel disadvantaged in working visually. As for originality, his handwriting itself was amazing. In collaborating, we both did words and images. For example, I wrote 'Help Wanted,' Ted wrote 'No.' Ted didn't look for elegance or propriety, and I admire the way he bullied his way into art. He had a big influence on my attitude, something I realized long after he was gone." (George Scheneeman quote from Fischer, p. 29.) Fine condition, quite scarce.
