Lino-cut printed on fine paper, 15 x 20 1/2 in. Printed on the occasion of the artist's exhibition at Buzz Gallery Oct. 2–15, 1965, in San Francisco with an autograph note, "Vernisage 5–7pm, Oct. 2." The exhibition was curated by Paul Alexander, Bill Brodecky, Larry Fagin. Fran Herndon was an artist closely associated with the poets and artists of the San Francisco Renaissance including Robert Duncan, Jess, and Jack Spicer. She was the art editor for Spicer's magazine J and collaborated with him making lithographs for the "Homage to Creeley" section of The Heads of the Town Up to the Aether and collages for Golem. Fine.
