56 contemporary British artists contributed to this pack of playing cards. Each card represents the work of a different artist, together with additional designs for the reverse and for the box. Cards measure 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in., box measures 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 in. Participating artists include Ian Breakwell, Patrick Caulfield, John Furnival, Maggie Hambling, David Hockney, Patrick Hughes, Suzi Malin, Tom Phillips, and Joe Tilson. Cards shrink-wrapped, as new, box is very near fine. Included is an accordion fold pamphlet describing the project along with a list of contributing artists and collections holding their work. Pamphlet is near fine with a shallow fold to top of first page which also has a couple of small chips.
