I had wanted to write something about my life in the early 60s and realized that I'd saved all these letters … I edited almost nothing and just held my breath as I typed it all up. I began to think of it less a book that related to me but more like an epistolatory novel, Clarissa or Les Liasons Dangeureues." (The Angel Hair Anthology, p. 606) This copy is inscribed to Rosemary Mayer cover artist for this and other Angel Hair titles and the sister of Bernadette Mayer. Bump to foot of spine, near fine.
