The artist recalls, "The Golden Palomino Bites the Clock was my first New York cover after coming from the Tuscan Middle Ages of Italy. I had never even been to New York, had never seen a deKooning painting and only knew the paintings of Ambrogio Lorenzetti! I was nervous as hell and I'm embarrassed that I actually put a horse on the cover." (The Angel Hair Anthology, p. 602) Tiny bump to upper right cover, else fine. A very clean sharp copy.
