This work is subtitled “(being a conventionalization of ‘Morphemes’ of Jack Spicer).” Jonas (1921–1970) met Spicer in Boston in the mid-fifties and was an important and influential figure among such poets as John Wieners, David Rattray, and Gerrit Lansing. Very good.
