Single sheet, 8 1/2 x 11 in. Unique piece, designed and hand-drawn on both sides by the poet. It seems possible that this work is a prototype for an intricately folded pamphlet as the various sections of text are unusually numbered 1–16. Fascinating work. Though not signed and with no author identified this is clearly the work of Philip Whalen. It comes from the collection of Bobbie Louise Hawkins and was likely a gift to her from PW when they both lived in Bolinas in the 1970s. Fine.
