Red and black silkscreen print, 7 x 9 5/8 in. This is one of George Schneeman's signature images of a red and black plaid workshirt on a wire hangar. The image was used on the artist's 1978 calendar and is featured on the cover of Dankai Punch, vol. 1, no. 1. Spring 2006, "A Magazine for the Babyboom Generations," from Japan.

This particular printing was made for inclusion in the limited edition (50 copies) of Painter Among Poets: The Collaborative Art of George Schneeman, edited by Ron Padgett, Granary Books, 2004. One of approximately 10 overrun copies marked "a/p, "signed and dated by the artist. Fine.
