Colophon notes that the book was supported by a National Endowment for the Arts grant, and printed at New England Free Press in Somerville, MA. The first half of the book contains “Red Neck Movie — A Play,” and subsequent sections are divided into “New York City” and “California.” The play contains stage directions and Shakespearian asides, addressing racial tension, marijuana smoking, and sexuality in at times offensive and graphic language.
This is from an edition of 750 copies, of which 26 are lettered A to Z and signed by the poet and cover photographer. This is letter "H," with slight rusting at staples and nearby discoloration, else fine.
