8 x 5 1/8 in. metal box, handmade (by Pelissier) with rubber hinge. Cover handpainted (by Pelissier) with a city scene. Contains loose cards measuring 6 3/8 x 4 3/8 in., and original postcard with "Buffalo Desert" poem pasted on; presumed to be by Thomas Fisher.

The introduction to the book notes that this is the second collaboration between Kelleher and Pelissier, containing postcards sent to Pelissier from 40 correspondents between November 2000 and January 2001. Contributors include Anselm Berrigan, Lee Ann Brown, Richard Deming, Elaine Equi, Lisa Jarnot, Philip Good and Bernadette Mayer, Steve McCafferey, Alice Notley, Kyle Schlesinger, David Trinidad, and others. The postcards themselves contain a variety of creative approaches, including poetry, drawings, and other verbal/visual explorations.

Produced in May 2001, the book includes two editions: an artists' book and a book in paper wrappers, the latter of which was designed in collaboration with Kristen Gallagher at handwritten press. The special edition is housed in a handmade and handpainted (by Pelissier) metal box with leather hinge, and includes one of the 40 original postcards along with additional unbound reproductions of the others.
