Red cloth clamshell box (12 3/4 x 15 in.) with title and names silkscreened in black. The book is divided into nine chapters, I–IX, each of which contains ten unbound pages, i–x (sheet size 11 1/4 x 13 in., image size 4 7/8 x 6 7/8 in). Each chapter is held in a separate folio which has the chapter's number silkcreeened in red ink. Each chapter contains ten plates, each with image and text, printed in Intaglio on white Somerset paper. The final page (x) of each chapter is signed by Archie Rand and John Yau with the date and book's edition number. The colophon page is printed in red ink on transluscent paper. This book was published by Archie Rand at the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University in the City of New York in 1997–2000. It was printed by Tomas Vu Daniel with several assistants.
