Boards with Wallace Berman photograph pasted to front cover. Black tape binding with string tie, 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 in. This is from an edition of 149 copies, comprising 16 sheets printed and assembled by hand by Berman. Contributions by Berman, Cameron, Kirby Doyle, Robert Duncan, Llyn Foulkes, William House, Jess (uncredited), Patricia Jordan, Jerry Katz, Michael McClure, John Reed, Elias Romero, Dean Stockwell, Aya Tarlow (as I.T.R.), John Wieners, and Zack Walsh (contributors are credited on each piece with their initials except where noted).
Inscribed by Berman to Claes Oldenburg "Claes: AutoBodys -- Cool W.B." referencing Oldenburg's performance, Autobodys, which occured Dec. 1963, at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Los Angeles.
Lacks string tie, boards lightly worn and toned; very good. Contents fine. All issues of Semina are quite scarce, no. 8 is particularly scare with all contents present.
