Velo-bound in black wrappers, 8 1/2 x 11 in., 72 pp. This is a bound typescript for what would become Peter Gizzi's first book, Periplum (Avec Books, 1992), with artwork by Trevor Winkfield. There are a few corrections in the poet's hand. Warmly inscribed to Trevor Winkfield (who provides a frontispiece image for the typescript) in 1991. An undated, though clearly 1991, ALS (c. 75 words) to Winkfield from the poet is laid in. Fine.
