The Tapestry and the Web.

Four Seasons Foundation, 1965. Item #3219

Smyth-sewn in wrappers, 8 1/2 x 10 7/16 in., 61 pp. Frontispiece by Jack Boyce. This is from an edition of 1000 copies of which 27 are specially bound and numbered and signed by the poet. This copy is inscribed to poet Larry Fagin "With infinite regards through the weaving for Larry from Joanne in time." Tipped to half-title page is a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in., black and white gelatin silver print of Kyger lying on the floor beneath two paintings. The photograph was likely taken in a loft in New York City where she and her husband, painter Jack Boyce, lived during 1966. It was at this time that Kyger first met Larry Fagin, Anne Waldman, Lewis Warsh, Ted Berrigan, and other young New York poets. Very good with a 1 in. horizontal sunned band to front and back, spine sunned and with a few cracks though strong.

Price: $950.00
