Saddle-stitched green wrappers. Project originally prepared as a Poets Press book with Diane di Prima's imprint, though due to disagreements on author payment (as outlined in lengthy preface), it was shelved and instead published as a "pirate" edition to meet subscriber requirements as set forth by Bob Wilson of the Phoenix Bookshop. After this, Duncan was able to publish the work as originally envisioned, in this expanded (yet still slim) volume that replicates the holograph pages originally sent to di Prima. Light toning at spine, else fine.
