From the colophon: "Long in the making, production of Chartings has begun at least three times and is completed by the spring of 2000 by Charles Alexander with the assistance of interns Jesse Seldes, Christi Richardson, Elizabeth Daniel, and Dana Sebastian. Some 2800 sheets were fed through the Vandercook press, more than 2000 pieces of paper were hand torn, as 80 books were produced in our Tucson studio. Poems are printed on handmade Mulberry paper, torn and attached to Tiara papers printed with large block letters and numbers in dispersed patterns...Final markings by hand on the book are by Alexander and Cynthia Miller."
