Poetry Project Newsletter, no. 4. Mar. 1, 1973.
Item #4019
Mimeograph, 6 pp., loose. Fourth newsletter issued by The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery. Ron Padgett serves as editor. The second page has been printed upside down, possibly explaining why this issue was seemingly issued without the standard corner-stapling.
Includes an essay by Tom Veitch titled "How I Won The Big Table Prize and Got My Head Pushed In," along with publication announcements for Veitch's Die Luis Armed Story; Arise, Arise, by Louis Zukofsky; Capital of Pain, by Paul Eluard (trans. Richard Weisman); and Living at the Movies, by Jim Carrol, among others. With holograph emendation to the third page noting that Rudy Burckhardt is the author of Avenues of Communication. From the library of the poet Peter Schjeldahl, his mailing address is noted on the back.
Near fine, with rust stain from paper clip to the top left corner and folded twice for mailing.
Price: $175.00
