This volume reproduces two earlier volumes by Hawkins, Back to Texas (Bear Hug Books, 1977) and Frenchy & Cuban Peter and Other Stories (Tombouctou Books, 1977), along with nine new works. This copy is from the library of the poet Dick Gallup, and is inscribed to him.
Very good, with shelf wear and toning, a shallow bend at the upper right-hand corner of the front cover, and a 1 in. stain affecting the right edge of the back cover near the spine.
