Box set edition of Noel Black's "Angry Dog Midget Editions" chapbook series, published by Black's Angry Dog Press between 2001 and 2003. The Midget Editions, so-named based on their size, collects the work of poets, authors, and artists Black admires in brief chapbooks. In his introductory catalog, Black describes the project as a "series of diminutive books I mistakenly thought would be 'a lot of fun to put together' over 2 years ago." He goes on to note that "For the most part, though not entirely, the books were typed. This was probably a huge mistake driven by some kind of sentimental caveman impulse that quickly dissipated. But I like old manual typewriters and the way the type looks and I like typing. As the series wore on and I took on some prose manuscripts it just seemed stupid. And so, I laid some of them out to the best of my abilities on the computer." The first chapbook was published in San Francisco, California, the second in Manitou Springs, Colorado, and the remainder in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This copy is from the library of the poet and contributor Ron Padgett, and is inscribed by Black to Padgett on the inside flap of the cardboard box: "For Mr. Ron - waterfall hallway."
