This is no. 29 from an edition of 150 copies “designed, handset in Monotype Times New Roman, printed, torn, cut, and bound by Claire Van Vliet at the Janus Press on and of Kozu, Fabriano and Canson papers. The endpapers are the topiary gardens of Levens Hall, Westmorland, England.” Nicely inscribed by the poet “for Trevor love Jimmy June 1976.” This is an important association as British-born New York-based painter was among the poet’s closet friends as well as occasional editor and collaborator. An APC from Kenward Elmslie to Winkfield laid in. The interior is very fine, the cover is very near fine with light soil and fading at the spine.
