Jack Collom Archive
Poet Jack Collom (1931–2017) was known for his dedication to the pedagogy of poetry and poetics, his key role in the development of “eco-lit” and “eco-poetics” as critical fields, and his lifelong pursuit of these activities in his home state of Colorado, among poetic collaborators.
Through ample correspondence, drafts of works, self-published booklets, teaching materials, audio/visual material, documents related to the magazine, and collaborative works, this archive provides significant research materials to future scholars of postwar American poetry, eco-lit and ecological themes in poetry, the pedagogy of poetry, and Colorado-based poets.
